Mickey Thompson Wheels

An off-road American legend, Marion Lee 'Mickey' Thompson was born December 7, 1928 and died March 16, 1988. The man that inspired Mickey Thompson wheels was known for his many championships. Then he also made some land speed records in drag racing. Together he and his wife formed an entertainment group back in 1973.

He is also responsible for the Mickey Thompson Performance tires that are used in the Indianapolis 500. Mickey and his wife were murdered in Bradbury, California on March 16,1988.
